Streaming Media, one of the industry’s top print and online trade publications, recently released the 2021 edition of the “Streaming Media 50”, a list of the top 50 most important companies in online video tech. The list is assembled by their editors and top contributors to highlight the most important and impactful companies in the streaming industry. This year, Streaming Global is proud to be added to the list alongside some of the biggest names in the market; including Google, Amazon, Akamai and Microsoft.

Eric Schumacher-Rasmussen, Streaming Media’s VP and Editor-in-Chief offered this quote about Streaming Global: “Streaming Global's concept of a ‘video pipeline’ is unique, enough so that it raised $8 million in funding this year to advance that vision. Its software-defined agile transport approach rethinks the typical client-server workflow, and if you haven't checked it out, you should.”

Streaming Global’s listing on the “Streaming Media 50” is a testament to the market’s response to a solution to the industry’s three biggest pain points: reliability at scale; cost effective delivery; and improved performance (ultra-low latency).

Thank you to our team, partners and investors for the hard work and support that has led to this recognition! We will continue to innovate and to deliver on our vision of changing the way media is transported.
